Lost
Yesterday I hit a goal of mine. I lost thirty pounds. Primarily eating right with limited exercise. I feel great. My wife helped me a lot! Anything is achievable!
And my book is coming along!

What a weekend!
I truly love living at the beach! What a great weekend my wife and I had.
Fancy dinner on Friday. Woke up early on saturday and headed down to ssp. After we arrived we went to the VW dealership where we scored a sick deal and secured a 2013 Jetta! Yay! Super nice Sheila loves it as do I (my first car with a trunk!) Sheila said the baby seats will fit in the back nicely! Whoa!
Hung out on Saturday night and folded Sunday morning. Had a lot of fun playing with my new gopro. Hit the beach afterwards and played more.
All in all a great weekend! Love you Sheila!

well my book is coming together
after many years of careful consideration i have finally decided what i am going to right my book about
i am about 1/2 month in and 1/2 way done. everyone that i told (trust) has said the idea is brilliant.
the publishing company that i am working with is great too!
i am just looking for two things; get published, get my name out there
the funny thing is that it does not cost that much at all
feeling great, its like why not right?

i almost lost my wife
life has a way of always keeping you on your toes

the other day i got a horrible phone call from a linden firefighter, "tom, yes, this is edward from the linden fire department, your wife was in a serious car accident"
now i cannot ever tell you how that felt, my heart bled. i then asked, "is she ok?" - i had to wait for his response which was only 2-3 seconds long but may have well been hours
i kept thinking, hes going to say shes ok, hes going to say shes ok. "yes tom she is ok and in stable condition, her car flipped several times and she is a little banged up but we are taking her to the hospital"
i lost it. imagine everything you ever loved, stolen right from you - nothing should be take for granted ever. i love my wife and with out i am not me.
i thought , "God please i have not had enough time with her, this isnt fair!" but she is home now resting as i am thankful that the call was not worse.
as for the car. totaled. prius drivers you are in one hell of a safe car

Sitting
On the beach in hanalei Kauai. Just got done w a solid two hour surf session. I would have stayed in longer but my wife was on the beach alone, I was thirsty, and my nips and armpits looked like hell.
Three days of great surf.
